Local Painting Considerations in Hataitai

Hataitai sits between the Mount Victoria Town Belt and Evans Bay, with properties spread across both flatter streets and steeper hillside sections.

Its housing is equally varied. Character homes sit alongside townhouses, apartments and newer residential properties, meaning there is no single painting system appropriate for every Hataitai project.

Older painted timber homes may require more extensive preparation before repainting, particularly where previous coatings have begun to weather. Newer homes may instead require colour updating, maintenance painting or careful matching of modern interior and exterior finishes.

Wellington’s wind and moisture also make exterior preparation particularly important. Rather than simply covering an ageing surface, our team assesses its condition first and addresses the preparation required before the new coating system is applied.

Our Process — Simple & Hassle-Free We begin by reviewing your property and the surfaces being painted. You receive a clear scope and quote before work begins. The team then completes the required protection, preparation and painting before carrying out final checks.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have used AAA Painters for many years and always found them excellant to deal with. We have just had our interior woodwork painted white after having a varnished wood finish, skirtings windows etc. I am so impressed with the quality of the workmanship. The time spent with preperation to insure a good finish and durability.
