Painters Houghton Bay Wellington | House Painting

AAA Painters provides professional interior, exterior and roof painting for homeowners throughout Houghton Bay and Wellington’s southern coast.

Houghton Bay’s narrow coastal valley, steep hillsides and direct exposure to Cook Strait give local properties painting conditions that can differ substantially from homes further inland.

Wind, moisture, salt-laden air, strong sunlight and difficult access can all influence how exterior coatings weather and how a repainting project should be approached.

With more than 30 years of painting experience, AAA Painters carefully assesses the property before preparation begins, helping ensure the coating system is suited to the existing surfaces and their condition.

Refresh bedrooms, living areas, kitchens, hallways, ceilings, doors and trims with professionally prepared and painted surfaces. We can complete individual rooms or coordinate an entire interior repaint.

Exterior Painting

Exterior painting is particularly important for exposed coastal properties. We assess existing coatings, identify areas requiring additional preparation and apply a painting system suited to the surface.

Roof Painters

Suitable painted roofing can be professionally cleaned, prepared and recoated to improve its appearance and complement wider exterior maintenance.

Commercial Painting

AAA Painters also provides painting services for landlords, property managers and businesses throughout Wellington’s southern suburbs.

Wallpapering

Introduce colour, pattern or texture to interiors with professional wallpaper installation.

Textured Painting

Create distinctive feature surfaces with decorative and textured painting options.

Painting Houghton Bay’s Coastal Homes

Houghton Bay sits within a steep-sided valley opening directly onto Wellington’s south coast.

That setting gives the suburb its character but also makes exposure an important consideration when maintaining painted surfaces.

Two sides of the same house may age differently.

An elevation facing the coast or prevailing weather can show deterioration sooner, while a more sheltered surface remains comparatively sound.

During assessment, we look at the property elevation by elevation rather than assuming every exterior wall requires identical preparation.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have used AAA Painters for many years and always found them excellant to deal with. We have just had our interior woodwork painted white after having a varnished wood finish, skirtings windows etc. I am so impressed with the quality of the workmanship. The time spent with preperation to insure a good finish and durability.
