Painting Homes in a Coastal Environment

Plimmerton is one of Porirua’s distinctive coastal residential communities, with homes extending from the waterfront and village area into surrounding residential streets and hillsides.

The coastal environment is an important consideration when repainting.

Wind-driven rain, moisture, strong sunlight and general exposure can all contribute to the deterioration of exterior coatings over time.

Homes closer to the coast may also require particularly close inspection of exposed elevations, exterior joinery, trims and previously painted surfaces before repainting begins.

The solution is not simply to apply more paint.

Durable exterior painting relies on the existing surface being correctly assessed and prepared first. Loose coatings, failed areas and surface defects need to be addressed so the new system has a sound base.

Our Process – Simple & Hassle-Free From Totara Park to Pinehaven, our proven process keeps your project smooth from start to finish.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have used AAA Painters for many years and always found them excellant to deal with. We have just had our interior woodwork painted white after having a varnished wood finish, skirtings windows etc. I am so impressed with the quality of the workmanship. The time spent with preperation to insure a good finish and durability.
